Set on an acre of tranquil ambience in Fairhall, Marlborough, Copper Black offers privacy, space and luxury without fuss while being close to everywhere. Take the weight off, put your feet up and hang around your new home. Turn some laps in the heated swimming pool or relax in the spa. Find your own hideaway in our numerous outdoor seating areas, BBQ up some magic and enjoy dining in our outdoor kitchen, sip champagne in the spa or relax around the fire pit.
Our outdoor lounge and kitchen is semi enclosed with a huge BBQ and spit roast, bar fridge and prep area, oversized couches and a gas fire pit. It’s perfect to relax in with your end of day aperitif and to throw something you might have gathered through your day on the BBQ.
When you’re done with the day you have a choice of 2 guest rooms, each with a full en-suite and their own separate entrance. If you want even more space our Jasmine Studio is twice the size and has its own private deck and garden.
Copper Black can also be booked entirely for sole use which is ideal for family get togethers, couples traveling together, or people just wanting their “own” private luxury stay, perfect for up to 5 people.

Paula, Graeme and Griffon
MEET THE TEAM
Meet Paula, Graeme, Griffon the Labrodoodle and of course Full Noise.
Between us we have traveled and worked a good part of the world and been involved in corporates, aviation, wine growing and the event industry. Paula has worked extensively in the UK and Europe. Graeme has been fortunate to travel through his service in the NZ Air Force and as a commercial pilot. We know what we like and that is simple good fun, a bit of adventure, a quirk here and there and of course a good glass of wine with good company. If it’s fussy and complicated it’s not for us.
Griffon well he’s happy with three squares a day and plenty of ear scratches.
We have sought to bring all of what we love to the heart of Marlborough wine country with a purpose built property that is not only unique and contemporary, but goes one better by offering it on a smaller and more intimate scale allowing guests the space to truly relax in their temporary home.
As the property also incorporates our own forever home, every decision has been carefully considered and every design element lovingly selected so that Copper Black is a place to stay like no other. We think you’ll enjoy delighting in the different.
What is Full Noise you ask? Well we did say we like a bit of adventure and maybe you will too.
She is a WW2 V12 Yak 3 fighter plane and is available as the ultimate bucket list item. What about an adventure flight in the back seat doing over 300 miles an hour and as many loops as you like!!! Our stay at #CopperBlack was perfect! Amazing accommodation, beautiful spot on to the Golf course with a lovely pool and spa. High quality linen and towels which I love, super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast daily, and lovely hosts.
We stayed 3 nights and it felt like we had been away for weeks! So thank you, we highly recommend and will be back.
